About The Nutrition Mission
I feel passionately about health and well-being and believe that good nutrition
lies at the heart of this. This led me to follow one of my dreams and I started
The Nutrition Mission at the beginning of 2006.
My career started in human resources management, where I gained 10 years’ experience,
followed by student counselling at a Further Education college.
I was then recruited by the BBC as a proof-reader in interactive learning, and was
subsequently promoted to web producer and team leader on the BBC’s intranet, managing
projects and services regularly used by 26,000 staff.
I qualified as a Nutritional Adviser with
Premier Training International. I’m continuing my professional development
to achieve the Diploma in Optimal Nutritional Therapy, which is approved by the
Nutritional Therapy Council, the regulatory body for nutritional therapy.
All my roles have involved the welfare and well-being of people, a high level of
advisory work and building strong relationships. I’m also committed to my own personal
development, and recently attended the Foundation Course with
The Essence Foundation.
Both my career and personal experience have taught me to appreciate how much motivation
it can take to make lifestyle changes and how working one-to-one can help to achieve
that.
